Wild Roots Creative is a play-based Christian preschool in a loving home environment located in Sun Prairie, WI. With a low teacher/student ratio, your child will get the individual attention to thrive! I believe children learn best through play and discovery. I strive to provide an indoor and outdoor environment that lets children be creative, intrinsically motivated and open to grow and learn.
Wild Roots Creative serves children ages 3-5 who are fully potty trained. Our hours are 8:15-11:30 Monday through Thursday during the school year. (September-May)
Daily Schedule Tuition
Arrival and carpet toys
Gathering Circle (welcome song, stories, creative movement and Bible time)
Learning Focus (fine motor journals, learning concepts and art)
Work time (child-led free play and snack)
Outdoor play time (Gross motor, playground and nature trails)
Story time and Good-byes
Two days a week (Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs) $260/month
Four days a week (Monday-Thursday) $475/month
Discounts available if paid in full for the year
$100 non-refundable registration fee (This holds your spot and includes all needed supplies for the whole year)
Why Choose a Play-based Preschool?
Play-based learning helps children develop social skills, motivation to learn and even language and numeracy skills. Play lays the foundation for a child to become a curious and an excited learner.
By playing, children learn how to express themselves, develop their use of language, solve problems, use their imagination, and all kinds of other cognitive skills.
At Wild Roots we believe that a play-based learning environment helps develop the whole child. We are here to foster creativity through play, process art activities, playing and socializing with children and enjoying nature.
About me: Miss Cathy
My name is Cathy Gresens. I had an amazing childhood filled with mudpies, a wooden play shed, climbing trees and endless free play. I am a mother of 5 children and have taught preschool ages for over 10 years. Although I originally was a Spanish teacher, I fell in love with the preschool years since they are fiercely creative, have an innate curiosity about the world around them, their imagination and their excitement to learn. I also love teaching them Bible stories and watching their faith grow! Owning my own preschool was a dream of mine and it has been so fun to see it come to fruition.
